INSTAMUSE
Privacy policy
This policy explains how InstaMuse handles information in its iOS and Android apps and on instamuse.app.

Who is responsible
InstaMuse is published by Enzo Bianchi. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@instamuse.app. Canada
Your photos and creations
The app uses the system photo picker to access only the photos you choose. Selected photos, thumbnails, crop and zoom settings, layouts, backgrounds and format are processed and saved locally in the app’s storage. We do not operate a photo-upload or cloud-editing service, and do not use your photos to train AI models. The local collection keeps up to 12 recent projects; older projects may be removed when new ones are saved.
Saving, sharing and device backups
Saving an export adds a PNG to your photo library or Android media storage, with the relevant system permission where needed. Sharing sends your export to the app or recipient you choose; their privacy rules then apply. Photos you export are separate from app projects. Operating-system backups may include app data according to your device and cloud-backup settings.
App settings and export permissions
The app stores display preferences, advertising consent choices, ad timing and export permissions. A locally generated fingerprint of a composition is used to remember whether that composition is unlocked; it is not used to identify you across other apps. InstaMuse has no user accounts, subscriptions or in-app purchases, and no separate first-party analytics service.
Advertising and Google AdMob
The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Depending on the platform, your choices and the SDK configuration, Google may process network information such as your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions and diagnostic information. This supports ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. We do not provide your photos to Google for advertising. The current app does not request access to the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA), and the Android advertising-ID permission is removed. Other technical identifiers or data may still be processed by the advertising SDK.
Your advertising choices
Where required, a consent form is shown before advertising requests. An “Ad privacy options” entry is displayed when required by Google so that you can revisit your choices. The ads and processing available after a choice depend on Google’s rules and the region. Free-layout exports may show an occasional interstitial. Bonus exports offer a rewarded ad. A loading or presentation failure allows export; closing a rewarded ad before receiving its reward does not unlock the bonus image.
Website and support
This website has no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, embedded social feeds or newsletter form. Fonts and images are served from the site itself. The site does not set cookies or store a language preference in your browser; language is represented in the URL. Our container disables routine access logs. The server, reverse proxy and hosting provider may nevertheless process your IP address, request details and technical error logs to deliver and secure the site. If you email support, we process your email address and the information you choose to send to answer your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information.
Purposes and legal bases
Information needed for app functionality and support is used to provide the service you request. Essential website delivery, security and abuse prevention may rely on legitimate interests where that legal basis applies. Optional advertising processing relies on consent where required by law, and you can withdraw that consent through the available privacy controls. We may also retain information when a legal obligation requires it.
Recipients, retention and international processing
Local projects remain on your device unless you choose to export, share or include them in a device backup. Support email is handled through Gmail, and hosting infrastructure handles website requests. Google and advertising partners may process advertising data outside your country and apply their own retention periods and applicable transfer safeguards. We keep support correspondence only as long as necessary to deal with the request and relevant legal obligations. There is no fixed server-side retention period for your photos because we do not receive them.
Deletion and your rights
Delete a project from the app’s collection to remove its local project files. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage, but exports, recipients’ copies and device backups must be managed separately. We cannot remotely access or delete your local creations. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain information you have sent us, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy authority. Send requests to contact@instamuse.app. Google’s controls and privacy policy cover data that Google processes independently.
Children and changes
InstaMuse is not directed at children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so we can address it. We may update this policy when the app or its processing changes; the date on this page identifies the current version. Significant changes will be communicated as appropriate.
Website hosting
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Hosting region : Montréal, Canada (ca-montreal-1)
